At the end of the year, the six-year-old Lithuanian best mixed voices volunteer choir – Bel Canto Choir Vilnius – will do something what none of the Lithuanian choirs has ever done it throughout the entire history of the national choral music.
Just before Christmas, on December 20-22, for three consecutive nights Bel Canto Choir Vilnius will reign over the stage of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall, becoming the first choir in the history of the Lithuanian choral music, attracting the audience of more than 1800 people.
Vilnius City Municipality ‘s St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra and Bel Canto Choir Vilnius will represent Lithuania at Expo 2015, which begins in May and will last for six months in Milan, Italy. Bel Canto Choir Vilnius and the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra will perform at the key event of Lithuania’s National Day at Expo 2015 on July 15. The performance will take place at Expo 2015 major concert hall, which accommodates more than 1,000 spectators.
Bel Canto Choir Vilnius, Lithuania’s best mixed volunteer choir, gifted its special performance to the Lithuanian and US military forces on March 11, the 25th Anniversary of Lithuania’s Independence Restoration Day.
