Dr. Egidijus Kaveckas

Chief Conductor & Artistic Director, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius

Dr. Egidijus Kaveckas, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius’ artistic director, also works as a conductor at the Lietuva State Song and Dance Ensemble. Before that, he spent ten years singing in the Jauna Muzika Vilnius Municipal Chamber Choir, also serving as it’s choirmaster and second conductor. Egidijus also held a position of artistic director and chief conductor at the Polifonija State Chamber Choir.

Egidijus received a master’s degree in choir conducting at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater and defended his doctoral dissertation in 2016. He has also worked with famous German, Austrian and Swedish choral music and conducting professionals.

Milda Zapolskaitė

Second Conductor & Choirmaster, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius

Milda Zapolskaitė has been singing at Bel Canto Choir Vilnius since it was established in 2009, working for three of those years as the choir’s choirmaster. In 2016, she completed her studies in choral conducting magna cum laude at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. She also works as a choirmaster at the Vilnius State Choir and sings in the Jauna Muzika choir.

Raminta Gocentienė

Choirmaster & Concertmaster, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius

Pianist Raminta Gocentienė graduated from National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. She has worked as Bel Canto Choir Vilnius’ choirmaster since it was established in 2009.

In addition, she works as a concertmaster at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and as a choirmaster at the Virgo female choir. Raminta frequently accompanies Lithuanian soloists in various competitions, festivals and concerts.

Eglė Stundžiaitė 

Vocal Coach, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius

Eglė received her bachelor’s degree in 2013 and her master’s degree in 2019 from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, studying under Professor Irena Milkevičiūtė. In 2020, she interned at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini (Florence, Italy). She is a frequent collaborator with the Kaunas State Symphony Orchestra, the Vilnius Sinfonietta Orchestra, St. Christopher’s Orchestra, and the Musica Humana Chamber Music Ensemble of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic.

Eglė performs as a solo artist and has also been working for the Vilnius City Opera since 2016. Since 2020, Eglė has been a trainee soloist at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2020, she became the vocal coach of Bel Canto Choir Vilnius.
