In the autumn of 2024, we participated in the Tolosa International Choral Contest in Tolosa, the Basque Country of Spain. This competition is part of the prestigious and most important European choral competition network, the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing. We were honored to be invited to participate in this top-tier European choral championship for the third time.

The competition brought together 11 best choirs from Latvia, Sweden, France, Belgium, the Philippines, Thailand, South Africa, and other countries. In the most challenging category of polyphonic music, we received a score of 78.1 out of a possible 100 points.

In addition to our two competition performances, we also staged four concerts in the Basque Country. Our performances in the cities of Tolosa, Zarautz, Getxo, and Zirauki were attended by more than 3,400 spectators.

Our participation in the Tolosa International Choral Contest in Spain was partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
