Milda Švelnienė

Artistic Director & Conductor

Milda has been singing with Bel Canto Choir Vilnius since it was founded in 2009, and in 2015 she became the choir’s choirmaster and second conductor. In 2016, she received a master’s degree in choir conducting from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, graduating with the highest honours.

Milda is also the choirmaster of the Vilnius State Choir, sang in the Vilnius Municipal choir Jauna Muzika for 13 years, and participates in a wide variety of other selected musical projects.

Stasė Žaltauskaitė-Malūnavičienė

Choirmaster

Stasė graduated from the Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis National School of Arts and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she obtained a master’s degree in choral conducting.

From 2007 to 2015, Stasė was the director of the Vilnius Art Museum women’s choir Eglė and, for over 10 years, she sang in the chamber choir Aidija. Since 2008, Stasė has been working as a choirmaster in the Vilnius State Choir.

Raminta Gocentienė

Choirmaster & Concertmaster

Pianist Raminta Gocentienė has been a choirmaster at Bel Canto Choir Vilnius since it was founded in 2009. She is also a concertmaster at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and a choirmaster at Virgo, a girls’ choir in Vilnius.

Raminta regularly accompanies Lithuanian soloists and students at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in various competitions, festivals and concerts.

Eglė Stundžiaitė

Vocal Coach

Eglė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2019 with a master’s degree, studying under professor Irena Milkevičiūtė. In 2020 she completed an Erasmus traineeship at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory (Italy).

She collaborates with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and all other major orchestras in the country, performs solo concerts, and works in the musical projects of the Vilnius City Opera. Between 2020 and 2022, Eglė trained at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, and together with her husband Eimantas, they are the founders of E&E Vocal Studio.

Eimantas Bešėnas

Vocal Coach

Eimantas graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2019 with a master’s degree, studying under professors Algirdas Januta and Virgilijus Noreika. He works in various artistic projects in Lithuania and abroad, is active in concert activities and solo performances, collaborates with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and all other major orchestras in the country.

Eimantas has been working with the Vilnius City Opera since 2017, is a member of the best Lithuanian tenor ensemble Tenoriada and the artistic director of Dubingiai Music Festival. In 2023, he also took a soloist job at the Klaipėda State Music Theatre.
