Bel Canto Choir Vilnius, Lithuania’s best mixed volunteer choir, gifted its special performance to the Lithuanian and US military forces on March 11, the 25th Anniversary of Lithuania’s Independence Restoration Day.

Soldiers at the Lithuanian and US (2d Cavalry Regiment) Land Forces, serving in Rukla, Lithuania, were presented with a cozy programme featuring classical and popular music by Lithuanian, American, Ukrainian composers as well as music writers of other nationalities. More than 40 singers of the Bel Canto Choir Vilnius were aided by a pianist Violeta Vaičiulienė.

On March 11, singers of the Bel Canto Choir Vilnius met the Lithuanian and US soldiers, visited military units in Rukla, and in the evening performed a concert for the soldiers at the concert hall of Jonas Stanislauskas School in Rukla town.
