Bel Canto Choir Vilnius’ album – Bel Canto Choir Vilnius. The Collection 2014-2015 – is a collection of the Choir’s most favorite songs, performed and recorded live at the Choir’s concerts in 2014-2015. It is compiled exclusively for online music stores iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon & Spotify.
The Collection features eleven songs of contemporary, classical and popular choral music. It contains and four very special and complicated contemporary choral pieces, which earned the Choir a gold medal at the World Choir Games 2014, one of the world’s major choral competition.
The Choir’s Olympic programme include: “I Am Here”, written exclusively for the Bel Canto Choir Vilnius by Lithuanian composer Vytautas Miškinis, “To See a World” by Swedish composer Sven-David Sandström, “O Quam Tristis” by Lithuanian composer Giedrius Svilainis, and “Neišeik, Saulala” (Don’t Leave Me, Sun) by Vytautas Miškinis.
